科斯玛将在德国收购两项经营权，在荷兰和匈牙利各收购一项。BDW现在的制造客户包括德国大众、奥迪、保时捷、奔驰、法拉利、采矣孚等。
麦格纳说收购兼并会增强和完善科斯玛提供轻质钢铁、铝或者钢铝混合物的白色车身－底盘复合体的能力。

Magna acquires automotive aluminium die casting operations
Cosma International, part of Magna International Inc, is acquiring BDW technologies group's four operations within vacuum high-pressure aluminium die casting.
Magnasays the acquisition will expand and complement Cosma's ability to deliver lightweight solutions for complex body-in-white structural and chassis components in steel, aluminium or aluminium-steel hybrid.
"The technologies gained from BDW will complement the low-pressure casting capabilities we recently acquired from Grenville Castings in Ontario, Canada," says Horst Prelog, President of Cosma International. "While Cosma has always maintained broad product and process metal forming capabilities, the integration of BDW makes Cosma the right choice for OEM's collaborative, lightweight vehicle solutions."
Closing of the transaction is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2012, subject regulatory approvals including anti-trust approvals.
